Description:
Type: Full time
MD/DO wanted for a well established medical facility treating chronic pain patients. Examines patients to determine discomfort level and cause of pain. Recommends tests to determine extent of pain, help diagnose condition, or manage pain. Provides relief from acute or chronic pain through the use of medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other therapies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be a patient advocate.
• Coordinate health promotional activities.
• Provide patient follow-up as necessary for continuity of care.
• Coordinate care with other health care providers when referrals are necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Masters or doctoral degree.
• Graduate of a approved professional school or graduate of an accredited college or university with a certificate in Family practice required.
• Require some pain management/medicine experience.
• Must have active Virginia license.
Monday to Friday
