Job description
Organizes and conducts medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment programs. Supervises occupational therapy assistants and technicians in performing treatment
The Occupational Therapist provides quality occupational, recreational and expressive therapies as an adjunct to patient treatment.
The Occupational Therapist interacts appropriately with adolescent, child, and/or adult patients during daily routine activities consistent with the organization’s treatment program design, principles or normal growth and development and assuring a safe environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Current Colorado State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Certification of completion of by a recognized educational institution of any and all required courses, including clinical
Ability to take direction and work well as a member of a team
Ability to show initiative in managing caseloads, treating patients and managing time
Attention to detail in documentation
Ability to develop and deliver Occupational Therapy services to residents/clients
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as ability to encourage and motivate individuals under stressful circumstances
Ability to perform all the essential functions of the Occupational Therapist position
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree of Science in Occupational therapy
Licensed as an Occupational therapist by the state of Colorado state board of Medical examiners
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
Current BLS should be maintained
Looking for someone who can start asap
Recently graduated candidates are also considered as long as they are eligible to apply for Colorado Department of Education Licensure

Salary - $31,953 to $47,453 based on education and experience
