Data migration from existing SQL 2000 server to newly installed SQL 2008 R2 server. The candidate must have 4 years experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator. Of the 4years, 2 years must be with SQL Server 2008.
Responsibilities:
Upgrade from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 R2
Migration of Database from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 R2
Test plan and successful execution of test plan
Validation all original functionality in SQL 2000 still exists in SQL 2008
Backup of SQL 2000 Databases and Backup of 2008 R2 Databases
