Full-time Jr.Level .NET Developer

In this position, the Jr. .NET Developer’s primary role is to turn business requirements into solutions using the latest application development tools. As a developer Some
specific responsibilities include:

  • Work on multiple software development projects using the .NET framework as directed by the Application Development Manager. Projects include web, windows forms, windows and web service development
  • Work with departments and end-users to thoroughly define business requirements
  • Document and obtain sign-offs on business requirements before developing
  • Provide application support (second or third tier)
  • Manage small to medium scale projects through all stages of the project from requirements gathering to implementation
  • Work with other departments to perform unit testing and system testing of new applications
  • Design, code and test components and systems that cost effective, scalable, high performance and reusable.
  • Design and develop normalized databases

Skills Required

To meet the demands of this key position, the .NET Developer must possess the following skills and experience:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or equivalent years of work experience in the field
  • Full SDLC experience developing large or complex systems
  • 0-2 years experience with ASP.NET 2.0 or higher, T-SQL, Stored Procedures.
  • Solid background using XML, XSL, XSLT
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce technology and architecture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and professional skills
  • Self-directed; the ability to work independently to meet deadlines and produce quality work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment.
