Director Subrogation Duties : Oversees company's subrogation efforts on a national basis. Will be responsible for ensuring companyis properly identifying recovery opportunities, properly pursuing those opportunities, and continually seeking ways in which to improve recovery efforts across the country. With respect to subrogation recovery efforts, creates expectations for each branch, in cooperation with branch manager and branch claims manager; develops standards for handling of subrogation claims and referral of subrogation claims to in-house or outside counsel, establishes reporting standards; and analyzes current results against historical results in each branch to drive improvement. Manages subrogation caseload in California. Assigns caseloads and handles own cases with a high degree of autonomy, representing company in the court system. Develops and presents training on subrogation. Oversees and track the development and presentation of training nationally. Develops and maintains strong relationships with all pertinent personnel within company's who are involved in recovery efforts; including Claims managers and supervisors, SIU management, and branch managers. Works productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis. Responds positively to direction and criticism of performance. Consistently maintains professional and appropriate demeanor. Performs other duties as assigned.
