Natural Gas Attorney The candidate will support the natural gas trading and origination transactions. Will have a high level of legal responsibility and contact with bank\\\'s management, commercial and risk teams, including counseling, drafting, and negotiation of contracts for sophisticated commercials transactions as well as normal trading operations and transactions, with a focus on wholesale gas products and projects in the US and Canada. Should have a strong academic background and 5+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. Must have experience reviewing, preparing, drafting and negotiating standardized physical and financial commodity contracts (NAESB, GasEDI, ISDA and ISDA Gas Annex). Should have understanding of the rules and applicable regulations to gas trading and marketing with a particular emphasis on FERC and CFTC regulatory issues. Must have familiarity and understanding of natural gas pipeline tariffs, operations, posting requirements and related transportation and storage agreements. Should have experience with various collateral and security arrangements supporting third party transactions. Must have experience responding in short order to various forms of industry RFPs and Bid Requests.
