Associate General Counsel - In House

Associate General Counsel The candidate will support all aspects of bank's custody business, particularly the global custody operations. Will provide legal advice regarding product development and risk mitigation. Negotiate and draft contracts with clients and agent banks. Resolve client, transactional, documentation and global network management issues. Should be a licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience at a major law firm or financial institution, with substantial experience with Federal securities and banking laws, especially those relating to custody services, prime brokerage, securities lending and fund administration.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA/Master's in Taxation or LL.M. degree is preferred. Must have 2-4 years of progressive tax consulting experience, preferably with 1 year of experience in focusing on international taxation. Experience with a Big 4 firm, public accounting, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company. Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite, tax research software. Some travel may be required.
