Part-time Temporary Legal Analyst The candidate will conduct legal research and analysis for the PHASYS Arm 2 project titled Legal and Ethical Indicators of Adaptive Public Health System Response. A J.D. degree is required. Familiarity with public health law is preferred. Will work at 50% effort for 16 weeks.
The candidate should have a J.D. degree and be a member of the Illinois Bar. Must have 2-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney in securities, futures and/or corporate matters. Prior employment at the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or a securities or futures exchange is desirable. Experience in drafting Exchange rule filings, drafting and filing SEC registrations as well as a working knowledge of the derivatives markets and of the broader financial markets is a plus.
