Senior Attorney- FI Derivatives Duties: Manage two lawyers and support the US Rates business (including interest rates, structured rates, fixed income prime brokerage and municipal finance derivatives). In addition, will help coordinate Legal response to counterparty default situations. Will have close interaction with counterpart lawyer in EMEA. Responsible for providing legal support to the U.S. derivatives documentation group. Should have experience with ERISA in the context of trading agreements, and be involved in new derivatives clearing efforts. Oversee template language, and participate in new product committee and risk committee meetings relating to the Rates business.
Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in supporting derivatives trading desks. Experience in handling counterparty defaults. Background in overseeing derivatives documentation work. Management experience is preferred. Some travel may be required. Deadline : August 28, 2010.
