My client is a boutique PR firm that serves both domestic and international clients in the financial industry. The company is hiring a Senior Account Executive with 3-5 years of experience in PR or journalism. Responsibilities will vary with clients assigned, but primarily you will contribute to a number of account teams with tasks like tracking press clippings, managing press lists, assisting in research, drafting press releases, pitching/strategizing client initiatives, and client/media relations. Media contacts are helpful and knowledge/interest in the financial industry is required. Energy, excellent communications skills and a professional attitude are a must. Salary based on experience + benefits. This person must have strong attention to detail.
