Maintenance Manager Processing, mining experience
at

in Dem Rep of Congo
Contract senior level position in the mining sector in a remote area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
PLEASE NOTE: Regrettably, we are unable to consider candidates who do not have prior mining industry experience. (This is a crucial requirement and NOT negotiable).
Report to the Metallurgical Manager.
• Accountable for coordinating, implementing and improving on maintenance systems and practices in the refinery.
• Salary USD140-150kpa (net) with bonus potential of 20%, travel allowance dependent on location of recruitment, single status residence with vehicle, accommodation and meals provided and 84days annual leave (total days off site).
ESSENTIALLY, THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION WOULD BE:
• Engineering qualification, preferably mechanical.
• Practical and demonstrated hands-on experience
• 20 years maintenance experience, of which 5 years is at management level in a mining environment
• Experience of leading and co-coordinating multi-disciplinary (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, civil) maintenance team
• Experience of contract management, notably outsourced maintenance.
• Experience of implementing maintenance management systems (preventative maintenance, reliability centered maintenance etc) either manually or with the appropriate software from grass roots through to “best practice”.
• Expatriate experience ESSENTIAL, preferably in Central Africa.
• French language skills preferred but not essential
