Role:
AmA Pictures is looking for experienced and energetic New Business Development / Marketing & Sales Managers in London (UK), Paris (France), and New York (USA) to work closely with the Executive in researching, identifying and exploiting new business opportunities within the world of AV and film production. It is all about opening doors and getting leads, chasing up and converting into business whilst also growing existing client accounts, enhancing business relationships. This position is not for the faint hearted. If you are driven by sales results, have the right attitude and are not put off by a challenge, this could be the break you’ve been looking for. You are in effect your own boss!
Remuneration:
Reward will be on a very competitive commission scheme to begin with, based on a percentage per new projects.
Commission is uncapped and you will receive additional bonuses and incentives for overachieving.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Raising awareness of AmA Pictures with clients, through marketing initiatives, and distributing marketing reels.
- Creating and managing the communication tools including the website, newsletter, case studies and presentations.
- Representing AmA Pictures in the key Industry Markets & Festivals around the world.
- Gaining a clear understanding of clients\' businesses and requirements. Arranging meetings, carrying out presentations, researching potential clients and developing strong working relationships with them.
- Pitching high revenue deals to clients ranging from senior executives in large institutions to the appropriate freelancer.
- Meet & exceed personal sales revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis in line with the AmA Pictures business plan.
- Constantly offer unrivalled levels of service to clients.
- Assisting with the company’s strategic development & growth implementation.
Candidates’ Background / Desired Experience:
- This role requires new-school thinking and a hands-on approach.
- Client focused individual, you will be a natural sales person capable of building long-term relationships with clients and will have a proven track record of at least 1 to 3 years experience in a B2B sales role as a sales/marketing representative ideally within the AV & film market or related industry.
- Ideal candidates will be commercially aware of film production requirements.
- You will have an excellent network of contacts within the media & film industry.
- You will be calm under pressure, able to see big picture while focusing on granular details.
- This job is suitable for someone with a “can do” attitude who is excited by working in an entrepreneurial environment.
- This is a role that requires strong work ethic, hard work and a dedication to achieving targets & accomplishing goals.
- You will have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-sensitive environment. You’ll be able to multi-task and prioritize extremely effectively. First-class time management skills are a must.
- You rely on a positive, friendly attitude that is open and honest.
- The Company has a relaxed management style, and this role will suit someone who is highly motivated, determinate, ambitious, reliable, and flexible in their approach.
- You are computer and digital literate (Microsoft Office, Web Research) - but do not need to be a detailed technologist.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation/reporting skills.
- You must be fluent in English OR in French and ideally be able to speak and write one additional foreign language.
- Ideally the right candidates will be living within the London postcode area in UK, within “L’île de France” in Paris (France) and within one of the 5 boroughs in New York (USA).
