OUR CLIENT: Our Client’s company is made up of a team of experts specialized in critical IT applications adapted for the energy market. They mainly develop and integrate systems directly related to critical and strategic information systems and applications of players in the energy market.
OVERVIEW: The Regional Sales Manager manages the sales, marketing and service activities among customers or prospects in the South West of the United States (California and Texas) for an integrated commercial product that is configured to meet specific customer asset management needs within the Energy Markets. The combined products establish the basis for the continuous monitoring, assessment, and management of the vital signs of the Transmission and Distribution infrastructure and the health of its individual assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Open the market in California and Texas and set up and manage a sales force.
• Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates, and develop sales campaigns.
• Create and anticipate market sales forecasts.
• Analyze sales statistics to formulate policies and assist in promoting sales.
• Study schedules and estimated time, cost and labor for job assignment completion.
• Develop, implement methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current sales status and activities.
• Represent Company at industry association meetings, conferences and trade shows to promote product.
• Act as liaison between sales and Head Office.
• Participate in budget preparation.
• Assist Head Office with the preparation of manuals and technical publications.
• Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volumes and potential sales.
• Interpret Company policy to ensure Company objectives are met.
• Establish and maintain customer satisfaction and relationship.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10 to 15 years of proven sales experiences in a similar selling environment (Energy/Utilities Markets).
• Must have a network of contacts within the Energy/Utilities Markets.
• Strong comprehension of the market segment.
• Proven ability to sell and close business deals.
• Strong business judgment and analytical abilities especially with respect to target forecasting.
• Understanding of professional research methods.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong negotiation skills, dedication with high sense of responsibility and determination.
• Have a good team spirit to exchange ideas, result-oriented team player.
• Excellent time management and strong computer skills.
• Recognized for his/her ability to establish lasting relationships, leadership and sense of entrepreneurship.
