Full-time US Business Development Manager

at Etratech Inc. in Burlington



The US Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as expanding existing customer accounts within an assigned market. This includes marketing activities to identify and qualify potential customers and move the target through the sales cycle to the final purchase order. Extensive and frequent travel to customer sites and to the Canadian head office is an integral function of this position.

Experience
• 5 - 10 years professional experience in progressively responsible positions within an electronics manufacturing environment which encompasses design, program management and sales responsibilities.
• Demonstrated technical sales experience with a proven track record of strong customer relations and sales achievement (exceeding targets, growing existing account base and growing new accounts).
• Sourcing and costing of electronics components and custom products within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Contract (Supply or Production Agreements) and price negotiation.
 Prior experience in working remotely from corporate headquarters and interacting with overseas suppliers or partners.
 Understanding and ability to work with Excel based costing and forecasting models, appreciation for basic financial concepts such as Revenue, COGS, Gross and Net Margins.
• Versatile in Windows based PC’s and proficient in the use of MS Office (Word & Excel) software package, ACT! CRM software, e-mail and remote networking
