Currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Actuary, looking for a challenging and highly visible role in the Cayman Islands.
The post holders primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective assimilation of capital modeling into the risk management framework.
Candidates ideally should hold a Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics and be qualified under an internationally recognized actuarial society. A designation such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Management (FRM) designation is beneficial.
Ideally, candidates will have 5 years experience in the regulatory or insurance industries, specifically in risk analysis and modelling, reserving and Solvency II and capital modelling. Prior experience of relevant Cayman Islands legislation and extensive knowledge of the IAIS core principles, new international developments would be a distinct advantage.
