Our client is an is an independent, mid-sized PR firm headquartered in New York City that provides the full range of public relations and public affairs services to health care, pharmaceutical and biotechnology enterprises in the non-profit, government, academic and industrial sectors throughout the world. They have an amazing career opportunity for a bright and seasoned Senior Account Executive.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day activities for a high-profile, fast-paced pharmaceutical account
- Serving as team builder to self-direct own responsibilities, supporting junior staff, seeking guidance from senior managers and keeping everyone informed
- Managing work flow, details and budgets for assigned projects
- Contributing strategic/creative ideas for tactics to meet client challenges
- Developing a range of audience-appropriate written materials
- Crafting and conducting media pitches
The ideal profile:
- 3+ years of public relations agency or combination of agency plus in-house pharmaceutical/corporate or non-profit healthcare communications experience
- Experience with national and local market PR campaign management, media relations, scientific data meetings and data announcements, product launches, familiarity with the FDA approvals and advisory committee meetings
- Fast learner and motivated for success and growth of self, team and accounts
- Previous experience in vaccines and/or infectious diseases is a plus
