This growing business unit needs a strong procurement leader to lead a team of regional sourcing managers in developing a strategic supplier base that mitigates risk and provides cost savings in a highly competitive marketplace. We are looking for a progressive leader who can develop strategies and processes to qualify and manage strategic alliance partners in a way that improves relationships with customers and leverages spend across the organization. The focus for this role is primarily indirect spend which can include MRO, contract labor, energy, facilities, professional services etc..
Necessary years experience: 10+ years sourcing/procurement w/ a diverse background in commodity mgmt w/5+ years experience as a manager of people
Education Requirements: BS, MBA preferred
Other qualifications: Proven track record of being successful in a highly matrixed environment, managerial courage and change management skills
