Full-time Talent Management & Learning Partner

POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Management & Learning Partner works with the Business to identify talent management and learning needs. They support the development and implementation of both Corporate and Business Unit specific talent management and learning programs. Talent Management & Learning Partners report to the manager, Global Talent Management.

RIM has multiple positions that we are looking to fill based out of our Waterloo location.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide Talent Management and Learning subject matter expertise within the Business Unit
• Support the implementation and communication of corporate talent management and Learning programs at the Business Unit level
• Develop Business Unit solutions in alignment with corporate Talent Management and Learning principles.
• Channel Business Unit needs to the TM Corporate Group
• Provide Business Unit design criteria into corporate Talent Management and Learning program design
• Provide feedback and recommendations to shape the design of corporate Talent Management and Learning programs and processes.
• Provide communication and coaching to Business Partners on Talent Management and Learning initiatives and programs.
• Evaluate effectiveness of Talent Management and Learning programs at the Business Unit Level
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience, 5 to 10 years, in a Talent Management role or Organization Effectiveness role
• Bachelors Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or Business Administration, Masters in Industrial Psychology preferred
• Demonstrated experience in employee development, leadership development, career pathing, competency development, performance management and talent review/succession planning
• Strong communication and change management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, previous project management experience would be considered a strong asset
• Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels in the organization
• Ability to build and sustain partnerships with OD peers and the business.
• Previous experience developing and delivering presentations to all levels of management
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong business acumen skills
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
• Facilitation skills
• Professional designation in a relevant domain
• Project management experience
• Coaching and/or facilitation designation would be considered a strong asset
