Plant Manger
Plant Manager needed for State-of-the-Art 600+ MW coal-fired power plant near Memphis.
The basic responsibilities are operations and maintenance. They of course include load generation and reliability, resource utilization and preservation, safety, and environmental compliance. Of principal interest to the well-qualified candidates we seek: this is an opportunity to set the policy & practices, and employ state-of-the-art concepts in a power plant operation.
Primarily, the Plant Manager will:
Ensure sufficient resources in the form of manpower, materials, and tools.
Manage daily operations
Develop short and long-term goals and help to ensure their attainment
Direct operations and maintenance through key group of supervisors
Set training programs
Oversee hiring
Provide annual reviews
Oversee planned and unplanned outages
Administer Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, and QA/QC programs
Qualifications:
10+ years supervisory responsibilities in a power plant setting.
Engineering degree preferred.
Coal-fired experience.
Strong leadership qualities.
Comprehensive management responsibilities: budget, control, reporting, planning, execution
Desire to run a power plant.
