Animation and VFX Teacher wanted

We offer:
For the foreign teachers and teacher assistants who sign longer than one-year contract with ACG, the company will provide accommodation, visas and air tickets costs and assist to process;
In addition except teaching each year, the teachers and TAs will have chance be involved in the production of film and television projects operating by national organizations and studios;
Every month and quarter, ACG teachers will be organized to participate world-class professional forums hold by governmental organizations in China and the activities of academic lectures and seminars in the domestic first-class arts colleges and universities;
ACG teachers and TAs will have the opportunity to participate in national CG education academic exchanges and academic development activities operated by state-level educational institutions and co-sponsored by ACG;
ACG will regularly invite the world-renowned animation, special effects and other related arts masters annually, such as the Academic-Award winner, important person from international well-known film and animation production companies to come to China to engage in academic exchanges, ACG teachers will participate in the events to present ACG’s academic team.
To the intern teacher assistants who sign the three-month intern contract with ACG, the company will provide accommodation, visas and air tickets costs and assist to process;
They will be organized to participate the activities of academic lectures and seminars in the domestic first-class arts colleges and universities;
Intern TAs will also have chance to take part in film or TV production in China.
Position ONE
Lead Teacher of Character Animation
Responsibilities
1. The position holder is responsible for design and developing the curriculum of character animation;
2. Teaching
3. Prepare class when not teaching;
4. Help in formulation and implementation of staff training;
5. Work with management to identify TAs and translators’ work;
6. Assist in monitoring and evaluation of teaching effectiveness.
7. Help doing the promotional activities for the company.
Requirements
• Master degree in Animation or Arts
• At least 3 years relevant production experience in industry or teaching experience
• very good at character animation and also knowledgeable on Modeling and rigging or other aspects in Maya
• Strong capability of teaching and curriculum design
• Dynamic presentation skills
Position TWO
Lead Teacher of Visual Effects
Responsibilities
1. The position holder is responsible for design and developing the curriculum of Visual Effects;
2. Teaching
3. Prepare class when not teaching;
4. Help in formulation and implementation of staff training;
5. Work with management to identify TAs and translators’ work;
6. Assist in monitoring and evaluation of teaching effectiveness.
7. Help doing the promotional activities for the company.
Requirements
• Master degree in VFX or Computer Graphic in Arts
• At least 3 years relevant production experience in industry or teaching experience
• good very at making visual effects by using Houdini, Maya and After Effects kinds of VFX software and also knowledgeable on Compositing
• Strong capability of teaching and curriculum design
• Dynamic presentation skills
Position Three
Teacher Assistant of Character Animation (include intern teacher assistant)
Responsibilities
1. The position holder is responsible for help the lead teacher in character animation;
2. Assist Teaching in class;
3. Help lead teacher to prepare teaching materials;

• Bachelor degree or above in Animation or Arts
