Job Title : Biologist – III (Senior)

Description:
Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out research on assigned research problems contributing to the attainment of a defined research objective. Perform drug-response assays on various cancer cell lines, both for 2D and 3D (soft-agar) response data. Perform post-assay experiments such as signaling changes by Western blot. Perform experiments to validate lead hits in various cell culture screens. Analyze and interpret data, prepare reports, and present to manager and team when appropriate.
Requirement:
BA/BS, Biological Science-related – Required. Seeking a highly skilled, motivated individual to participate in our laboratory drug discovery efforts in oncology. Opportunity exists to generate and present data that could impact clinical direction. The successful candidate will have: Sound knowledge of scientific methodology and experimental planning. Strong experience with tissue cell line culture techniques Knowledge of cell growth assays (2D and soft-agar) and Western bloting strongly preferred. Background in cancer biology, cell signaling viewed favorably.
