Job Title : Microbiologist – II (Associate)

Requirement:
BA/BS, Mirco Biology OR Biology – Required. MUST have Experience with technical or investigative writing, aseptic skills, and coursework in Microbiology is desired. n order to qualify for this position, you must possess a BS degree in a relevant area. Microbiology or Biology is preferred. Candidates with a BS in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, or equivalent will be considered with relevant experience in environmental monitoring, laboratory operations, or sterile / vaccine production setting. Exposure to Measles, Mumps, Rebella, and Varicella is possible. A consultation with Heath Services regarding titers is required.
Description:
Under the direction of a Team Lead or Manager, the Specialist will be responsible for review and evaluation of routine and per process environmental monitoring (EM) sampling of classified areas and utilities. In this position, you will be responsible to: Monitor environmental performance against specifications within classified areas. Oversee media challenge program for processing areas. Investigate environmental excursions within classified areas focusing on root cause and protect impact. Maintain / approve Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) data. Adhere to SOP’s, cGMP’s and safety procedures.
