Job Title : Biochemist – II (Associate)
Location : West Point, PA
Rate Range : Open
Description:
Analysis and characterization of macromolecules using biophysical techniques such as HPLC, Biacore and DSC. Perform high throughput screening and other automation procedures. Perform macromolecular sample preparation protocols according to written and verbal instructions. Help develop new protocols as well as improve existing protocols. Detailed record keeping and organization of data and analysis in electronic notebooks, tables, and databases. Presentation at internal meetings. Supply ordering and inventory management. Some instrument maintenance required.
Requirement:
Successful performance requires a sound basic knowledge of the individual scientific discipline and the ability to apply fundamental principles and techniques to the problems assigned. In addition, industry, government or NON-classroom university experience is a MUST.
