The corporate buying office for an off-price clothing store is looking for Assistant Buyers to join their Buying Team. The company operates more than 714 stores in 26 states and Guam and offers first-quality, in-season, name brand and designer apparel, accessories, footwear and home fashions for the entire family at everyday savings of 20 to 60 percent off department and specialty store regular prices. The company’s environment is best suited to creative, fashion-minded individuals. Ideal candidates are upbeat, energetic, recent college grads, fashion-forward thinkers with strong computer skills. If you have excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills and have the ability to work well independently with little supervision this could be the position for you.
Requirements:
BA or BS is a must
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfortable working with numbers
Familiarity and experience with standard computer software
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency
Detail-oriented
Organized
Positive attitude and polished presence
