Greatjobsdiary.com is urgently seeking to recruit an Electrical Superintendent for their client who is operating in the Middle East,

The desired applicant should have the following experience and responsibilities:

• Plans, monitors and directs subcontractors work to ensure proper project scope and schedule are maintained.
• Maintain Daily Field Notes.
• Assist the pre-construction group to establish preliminary construction cost and schedules.
• QA inspection of buildings and projects to ensure work meets plans, specifications and quality objectives of the projects.
• Assist in performing design review of electrical and structural documents, providing timely feedback to appropriate team members.
• Conduct weekly site progress meetings with subcontractors.
• Work with Project Manager on pre-construction logistic planning, monitoring on-site safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Monitor progress and assure timely completion of projects.
• Assist with initial project design, cost estimates, preliminary budget and schedule.
• Communicate with division and department managers on construction projects, including discussion of construction issues.
• Coordinate activities with subcontractors, other corporate departments, such as facilities, purchasing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree desirable (Electrical Engineering).
• 10 years of industrial construction experience required and 5 years of supervision.
• Must be experienced managing subcontractors and their performance, organizing and prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
• English required, high level.

Conditions on Site:

• Saih Rawl project in Oman, 400 km far from Muscat.
• Living style is a bachelor camp with all the needs covered by the company.
• Working hours: 10/d from Sat to Thu.
• Medical and insurance by the Company.
• Rotation: 2 weeks off, 3months in. This is a corporate policy we can not move.
• Mob, demob. and leave flights by the Company.
• Expected duration: 6 months approximately until the Project Completion
• Status of the project, starting the temporary facilities works at site.
• Our client is PDO, Project Development of Oman.
