Description A Multinational Oil and Gas Company is looking for Executive / Assistant Manager HSSE for their India Operations.

The Professional must be willing to work in Shore Based Locations and Offshore Installations of the Company anywhere in India.

The Job Offers the following expectations and responsibilities:
• To coordinate Health, Safety, Security and Environment aspects of the Shore Base operations
• The position exists so that all HSSE related activities and responsibilities may be coordinated and professional advice may be provided where required. The goal is to ensure HSSE is above is on top of every activity of Shore Base Operations.
• Lead HSSE awareness among the Shore Base crew
• Coordinate all HSSE initiatives at the Shore Base.
• Liaison with HSSE department for all HSSE reporting and communication
• Review, provide suggestions and monitor closing of Hazard Alters, Safety Suggestions, Near misses and Incidents.
• Guide the work force in Work Permits, TRA’s, Tool Box Talks and Management of Change.
• Develop / Review HSSE procedures and processes
• Develop and maintain HSSE activity calendar.
• Report near misses and incidents in Synergy database
• Weekly analysis and follow up on all HSSE matters and communicate them in Weekly Safety meetings.
• Inspection and maintenance of all safety equipment at the Shore Base
• Lead safety induction to new work force and visitors and track safety training.
• Monitor core team competency.
• Maintain HSSE documentation for the Shore Base
• Conduct HSSE Stand Off meetings on visiting Vessels
• Coordinate ISO14001 activities and documentation
• He shall finalize incident of investigation reports
• Invoice approvals of HSSE related services.
• Should go to Sr. Shore Base Manager for approval of procedures, processes, Final incident investigation reports and financial approvals.
• The most important and the biggest contribution The Shore Base Executive / Asst. Manager - HSSE is expected to make is - change the unsafe behavior of the workforce into a safe behavior.
• He can initiate change of HSSE procedures and processes.

Skills Ideal Candidate must possess the following skill sets:
• Proven experience in the Logistics and Warehousing or operations function of the upstream Oilfield industry.
• Experience in leading and motivating a team of yard crew and contractor workforce, conducting Tool Box Talks, conducting Task Risk Assessment.
• Experience in creating awareness in Safety among the crew, leading safety initiatives and demonstrating organizations core values and beliefs in HSSE.
• Experience in implementing Environment Management System and Industrial Safety.
• Proficiency in using computers

Valuable Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Safety in Oilfield Industry operations or Safety large Engineering Industry is critical for this position.
• Candidate should be a graduate or a diploma holder in Engineering with added qualification in Industrial Safety.
• Candidate should be fluent in English and Hindi. Working fluency of a specified regional language will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should be aggressive and self motivated.
• Candidate should be able to work under time pressures and resilient.
• Candidate should have qualities of leading a team and gel with subordinates, equals and superiors.
