Job Title : Chemist – II (Associate)
Location : West Point, PA

Description:
Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out research on assigned research problems contributing to the attainment of a defined research objective. The nature of the work performed by the incumbent will normally be the solution of specific aspects of complex research problems. The problems assigned are normally short range in terms of time required for solution.
Requirement:
Successful performance requires a sound basic knowledge of the individual scientific discipline and the ability to apply fundamental principles and techniques to the problems assigned. Bachelor or master degree with relevant recent (within 2 years) demonstrable experience in protein and macromolecular biophysical analysis, using Biacore, DSC, ITC, etc. Recent (within 2 years) demonstrable experience using modern HPLC systems to analyze proteins and nucleic acids. Good understanding of instrumentation and experimental protocols. INDUSTRY AND NON CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE A MUST!
