Wilen Media has an opening on our Client Services team for an Account / Project Manager. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with the top executives from fortune 500 businesses, formulating and fulfilling consumer-marketing strategies.
At Wilen Media our project managers play a critical role with our clients, both strategically and tactically, while experiencing the satisfaction of managing marketing campaigns, from initial concept and creative, through in-home fulfillment and back-end analysis.
The right person for this job will be prepared for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and be at ease making decisions.
Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for day-to-day account management, contributing to client strategy development and implementation, and overall client management. This includes:
· Developing and maintaining strong client/agency relationships with high-level marketing executives as the primary point of contact for various accounts.
· Liaising between assigned clients and internal creative, production and technical teams on conception and execution of marketing projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time on budget.
· Contributing to strategic planning by participating in tactical discussions and client presentations.
· Managing clients’ creative approval and internal status updates for assigned clients’ projects.
· Identifying opportunities to create new business with existing clients by researching clients’ business and related industry trends.
· Working with client and internal marketers to monitor results from campaigns.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have excellent project / account management skills and the ability to bring cross functional teams together to ensure flawless project execution. This will be apparent in the applicant who exhibits:
· Experience with promotional acquisition and retention marketing, primarily in print and direct marketing, but is also familiar with all forms of media including, digital, interactive, TV and radio.
· Excellent organization and planning capability to seamlessly manage multiple concurrent projects.
· The ability to communicate customer strategies to your internal teams and coordinate customized design between your client and our creative and/or technical teams.
· The ability to think strategically and act independently while leading with professionalism and clarity.
· Excellent time management, analytical, listening, verbal & written communication skills, as well as strong and confident presentation skills.
· A passion for over delivering.
· Innate curiosity and aptitude with the ability to see the big picture, as well as be hands on.
· A basic understanding of major printing processes.
Requirements:
· 5 or more years of related agency experience with emphasis on creative and direct marketing.
· Bachelor Degree in marketing, advertising or related discipline.
· Willingness and ability to travel nationally 2-3 days a month.
