Salary: $100,00 - $115,000
Our client is looking for someone to lead and help architect an exciting new development initiative for us using Agile Development Practices. This person must possess strong technical leadership skills with specific experience with SaaS product implementations. Our team uses a range of technologies such as Java, Ruby/Rails, Oracle, and mySQL. If hired, soon you will be able to take the product from inception to launch by helping to define the architecture, implement the solution and see it through initial deployment in Q1 2010.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years experience delivering externally facing products
- 5+ years experience with web application development
- 2+ years experience developing SaaS products
- Experience leading teams ranging in size from 5-15 engineers
- Breadth of software design experience with specialization in user interface
- Interest in embracing Agile Development Practices
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years software leadership experience
- Experience with SOA
- Experienced with Agile Development Practices
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams (Eastern Europe)
- Preference given to candidates with experience in Lucene or other comparable search engine technology
